Society Vs Individuality
« on: December 06, 2011, 02:36:11 AM »
Society:
Does the majority benefit from societies pre-conceived notions? Does it encourage superficiality?
Individuality:
Can we only seek self-fulfilment through individuality?  Can only a minority escape corruption through society?

Thoughts please.
I will try and get back with a very detailed essay on my own personal philosophy.  Also internal and external human psychology with the recurring themes of individuality and society.

(Btw I was diagnosed with Tourettes at a young age, had troubles with co-ordination, later In life I was diagnosed with bi-polar disorder. I have overcome both the bi-polar and Tourettes on my own whilst extracting positive revaluations from my meta experiences. After a year of solitude working with my emotions and thoughts under constant self-evaluation I am now a university student candidate aiming to be a psychoanalyst.)

A motto... Off the top of my head lets see:
"Nothings impossible if you remember the human heart.  Understand everything inside and around you and resonate with it in positivity"

Another...
"Instead of building a shell around your heart reinforce the heart"

Hi and welcome.
interesting topic. i am sure this will develop into an interesting discussion.

here are a couple of points to your opening post.

Quote
Does the majority benefit from societies pre-conceived notions?
would it be useful to define which society and what the societies pre-conceived notions are?

Quote
Can we only seek self-fulfilment through individuality?
i believe that self fulfillment actually comes from having freedom of expression and action but also belonging and connectedness to others.

Quote
Can only a minority escape corruption through society?
I think the majority of people are not fully aware of the just how much of an impact corruption has on our society. those that are aware of it are able to take action to lessen the direct impact on their  own lives but will steel feel the burden due to the impact on the rest of society. there are a few who will profit and further their own ends as a result of this corruption.
The so-called miraculous powers of a great master are a natural accompaniment to his exact understanding of subtle laws that operate in the inner cosmos of consciousness.

Ah! yes apologies for being abstract.
If I have the time I'll be sure sure to answer all your questions in a detailed post.  For now, please try to derive as much meta-meaning from my presented text as possible :)
